Picking a Place

Your team's next task is to pick a place to land and call "home" for your Mars settlement/colony.   Geology is important to keep you safe and protected.  You should choose a PRIMARY (first choice) and a SECONDARY (second, back up choice) of landing spots.   Using Google Earth (Mars view) or MARS.GOOGLE.COM, and other research tools and sites, explore the various geological features of Mars.  Pay attention to what's nearby (geological features, rovers, etc.).  Consider elevation and any known weather that occurs on Mars.
When you've selected an appropriate site,
   1.  Get the exact link for your view by clicking "Link this view" and copying the unique address.  The web address contains the latitude (lat=) and longitude (lon=) of your location.
   2.  Paste the address(es) into the next Slides of your Team Slideshow.
   3.  Take a screenshot of the locations you've selected (Primary as well as Secondary)
